Subjective Content Moderation (2+1 flavors)

Informed by experiences developing a peer-to-peer distributed group chat, I share my learnings on developing two different kinds of subjective content moderation systems as well as a third experience from being part of the secure scuttlebutt community and how the community-at-large together manages the communal spaces in a similarly subjective fashion. Hopefully after having listened to this brief lightning talk, you will walk away questioning the status quo of content moderation and start thinking about approaches suitable for your context.
