The Agreement Layer
To control shared data use, build community, and for actual commerce, people and organizations need human-readable, non-repudiable contracts. JLINX is a web3 protocol that combines opensource JLINC data contracts in JSON, with what we call "micro-ledgers", data-streams using Ceramic, or Hypercore (in our first demo) for transport and immutability.
I bring a perspective on decentralization and what we originally called "user-centric digital identity" that goes back more than 20 years to the Planetwork conference and community. We represent a truly decentralized thread that seeks a middle path between client-side P2P and a practical approach to "agents as a service" that maps decentralized nodes to the actual structure of people and organizations in society.
